Hiring is an important event for both the employee and the manager. Admission includes recruitment and post-selection processes. Recruitment involves a variety of actions and mechanisms that an organization uses to attract candidates. Candidates must have a sufficient level of knowledge and proper qualifications, as well as the capabilities that are required in order to achieve organizational goals together with other employees and the company.
The purpose of recruitment is for the company to be able to create a kind of reserve of candidates for all jobs and vacancies of the organization. Organizational and personnel changes occur regularly in companies, and therefore there should be a "spare" candidate for each position who will be able to take office in the required period and begin to fulfill his obligations. The circumstances under which a new employee is required may be different:
- Dismissal of a former employee;
- Moving from one position to another;
- Retirement of an employee;
- Maternity leave of an employee;
- Expiration of contracts;
- Changing the directions and nature of the company's activities as a whole and in particular its individual divisions.
